Biography

Bing Cao currently works at College of Intelligence and Computing in Tianjin University. He received his degree of Doctor of Philosophy (June 2020) in Intelligence Information Processing, Xidian Unversity, supervised by Prof. Xinbo Gao.

From April. 2019 to July. 2020, he is a visiting graduate student at IDEA Lab in University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, supervised by Prof. Dinggang Shen.

He received his Bachelor Degree (June 2015) in Electrical Engineering and Automation, School of Electronic Information Engineering, Hebei University. Then he began to pursue his doctor degree in VIPS Lab led by Prof. Xinbo Gao from Sep. 2015.

His research interests include machine learning, computer vision, image processing, and pattern recognition with applications to multi-modality images (face images and medical images). He has several publications at top journals and conferences, such as IEEE T-NNLS, AAAI and IJCAI.
